Don’t get intimidating! List building can be one of the hardest things to do. Not only is the growth part harder than, say, growing a Twitter following, but people struggle with what to write, how often to write, and what the purpose behind email is. Though I’ve given you some great list building resources above, here are my tips for getting started or scaling up.
I completely agree with everything you have said on this post. Many of email marketers fail to understand how important it is to have an opt-in email list. No business can grow without an email list of subscribers. The email list building list you have written seems to be effective. And you have managed to list all the noteworthy tools for building an email list of subscribers.

Thanks for weighing in Debbie. Completely agree, popups do annoy some people, and I can appreciate why. Like banner blindness, popup blindness is becoming more of a “thing” now too. But, they do work. And, I’ve found the more aggressive you are with them, the higher the conversion rate. Thrive Leads is the tool I use to build my email list https://www.robbierichards.com/recommended-tools/. Well worth a mention!
Internet audience is fast moving, and they tend to go from one to another in a fraction of a second. So every aspect of your user interface counts when you are trying to get their attention. Having a beautifully designed web page will not always lead to the fact that you’ll be having lots of visitors to your website who would come back again and again.

I am happy to also ask for a plug for my family’s apparel website in the opener of said post if you think this post suggestion is a good idea. Shameless I know…..LOL! But hey maybe it will get your fans to keep submitting ideas. There might be something here to channel your fan base to get us to help your business. Think it over…..You really have reached Malcolm Gladwell Tribe status. And have done a great job with that. At this point whatever you asked the tribe to do they would deliver for you.
